Welcome to Shepherd Hills Quarter Horses!
Good breeding, soundness, conformation, disposition and heart, have always been the foundation
of our program for over 26 years. As our Quarter Horse racing program is coming to a close,
we are now redirecting our focus on a performance bred Quarter Horse program. We are very excited about this program and great horses such as 'Docs Prescription', 'Beaus My Daddy', 'Ben Cody', 'Bill Cody', 'Plaudit' and many others can be found in our program. Our foundation standards are the same and now the beautiful roan coloring is an added bonus. For now, we are located in Blue Grass, Iowa with 10 acres of rolling hills for the horses to graze and run on.

We will be selling some horses soon as it is hard to keep up and do justice to this many horses. After the race season ends this year, we will have a filly or two for sale. Great race horses such as 'Pass Em Up', 'Kitaman', 'Royal Quick Dash', 'Special Effort', 'Mr Eye Opener', and a few others can be found in our race breds. Our foundation broodmare has been retired and our 'Pass Em Up' mare has been leased but remains with us. We will also be listing horses that belong to friends.
