Shepherd Hills Quarter Horses -
~ In God we trust ~

WELCOME to SHEPHERD HILLS QUARTER HORSES in Blue Grass, Iowa. Darrell and I have been breeding, raising and racing Quarter Horses for over 26 years. Breeding, disposition, heart and soundness have been the foundation of our program. We started out racing  at a bush track in Central City, Iowa and also ran at Prairie Meadows in Iowa. It has been a wonderful and exciting time with a few wins.

We are now redirecting our focus on a performance line that we are very excited about.Great horses such as 'Beaus My Daddy', 'Docs Prescription', 'Bill Cody', 'Grey Badger II, 'Doc Bar', & 'Plaudit'  can be found in this line. We have two future broodmares with this line and their disposition, conformation and catty moves will be great assets to our new breeding program. Their beautiful red roan coloring is a bonus.

So  grab a cup of coffee and check out our website and we will look forward to hearing from you. Thank you and please stop back often as we are always updating.
